In the field of communication, frequency band refers to the frequency range of electromagnetic wave, in Hz. According to the frequency, it can be divided into:

1. Very low frequency (VLF) 3 kHz ~ 30 kHz, corresponding to the wavelength of very long wave 100 km ~ 10 km.

2. The low frequency (LF) is 30 kHz ~ 300 kHz, and the wavelength of the corresponding electromagnetic wave is 10 km ~ 1 km of the long wave.

3. The intermediate frequency (MF) is 300 kHz ~ 3000 kHz, and the wavelength of the corresponding electromagnetic wave is 1000 m ~ 100 m.

4. The high frequency (HF) is 3 MHz ~ 30 MHz, and the wavelength of the corresponding electromagnetic wave is short wave 100 m ~ 10 m.

5. Very high frequency (VHF) is 30 MHz ~ 300 MHz, and the wavelength of the corresponding electromagnetic wave is 10 m ~ 1 m.

6. Ultra high frequency (UHF) 300 MHz ~ 3000 MHz, and the wavelength of the corresponding electromagnetic wave is decimeter wave 100cm ~ 10cm.

7. Ultra high frequency (SHF) is 3 GHz ~ 30 GHz, and the wavelength of the corresponding electromagnetic wave is 10 cm ~ 1 cm.

8. Extremely high frequency (EHF) is 30 GHz ~ 300 GHz, and the wavelength of the corresponding electromagnetic wave is 10 mm ~ 1 mm.

9. To high frequency 300 GHz ~ 3000 GHz, the wavelength of the corresponding electromagnetic wave is 1 mm ~ 0.1 mm.
