Therefore, dual junction circulator can also be called high isolation circulator. In practical application, if large isolation is required, dual junction circulator can be selected. The insertion loss of single junction circulator is smaller than that of dual junction circulator. The isolation of dual junction circulator is improved, but the insertion loss will also become larger. Therefore, in the case of no great isolation, a single junction circulator can be selected, which has the characteristics of small insertion loss and small volume. Although the isolation and insertion loss of the single and dual junction circulator are quite different, its VSWR is unchanged.
